Paramount announced the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 4K and Blu-ray release date on Tuesday, as well as what many of the special features on the release will be.
The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 4K and Blu-ray release date is set for December 5, 2023, when the series will release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Alongside the physical releases, a 4K UHD and Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbook will also be made available.
This will come packaged with the series, as well as a “Subspace Rhapdosy” poster, and a set of four exclusive magnets in the 4K UHD version.

- Deleted, Extended, and Alternate Scenes (Exclusive)
“Based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise, the series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy,” reads the logline for the series.
Additional cast members include Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, and Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga.
