Spring begins this Saturday (23), and should continue the trend of the last few weeks of very heat. According to Inmet, the forecast points to new temperature records this first weekend of the new season.

The next few months should be marked by above-average thermometers and rain in the South, as already expected.

At least three Brazilian capitals (Campo Grande, Boa Vista and Goiânia) this week broke their heat records for the year 2023 and eight others are also expected to overcome Brazil’s heat wave.

Eleven states, including the Federal District, are under red alert of great danger until Tuesday (26) for extreme heat.

They are: Bahia, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Tocantins.
