The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) thwarted a “motorcycle rally” scheduled to take place in the early hours of Saturday (24) to Sunday (25), in Brasília. The event, announced through a social network profile, had the meeting point scheduled for Granja do Torto, around midnight.

The 3rd Battalion of the PMDF became aware of the announcement and requested support from the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) to contain any illegal activity associated with rolezinho.

While teams were moving to the location, six motorcycles were approached. Among the drivers, one of them was without a license and had an open arrest warrant, and was immediately taken to the 5th Police Station.

At another point, close to the Granja do Torto balloon, twenty motorcycles were approached. Of these, one was without an annual license, with a tampered license plate and the driver was disqualified.

In addition, another 15 motorcycles were towed to the Federal District Traffic Department (Detran-DF) warehouse due to various irregularities.

The expertise of the PMDF Traffic Battalion was called in to support the police vehicle that was rammed by one of the motorcycles involved in the rolezinho. This same vehicle approached another motorcycle related to the same event, both with tampered license plates and the driver of the motorcycle involved in the accident was also without his National Driving License (CNH).
