Is there a possibility that São Paulo will become even more full of good gastronomic options? It exists and there are excellent people working on it. One of them is the great chef Claude Troigros (photo), who will open Bistrot Quartier, in the capital of São Paulo. Located in the Le Quartier complex, where the Chez Claude restaurant and Bar du Quartier already operate, the new restaurant also has vegetarian options and some Italian inspirations, where the chef wanted to pay homage to his grandmother. “The idea is to honor her, a woman who was Italian, and also to honor São Paulo, which has a large colony”, explains Claude.

Macarons like never before

In July, the column The table visited the new Nube Café unit, located on the trendy 405 Sul. Under the command of the talented Sofia and Joana Peixoto, the new address has already become popular with the neighborhood, and its delicious macarons and delicacies have become a reference in the neighborhood. And one of the delights that is becoming a hit is the macaron with ice cream (photo). In addition to being super refreshing in this extreme heat wave, it is perfectly made. There are several flavors, including chocolate, pistachio and salted caramel. It’s worth remembering that this option is exclusive to the 405 Sul store. So, let’s cool off in a different way?

Sandwich with an oriental flair

Oriental culture has grown a lot in the capital. Little by little, we are introduced to the ancient cuisines of the East, and this goes beyond sushi or yakisoba. After ramen, oriental sandwiches are also gaining ground. This is the case of Sandô, a sandwich shop located on Rua 8 Norte, in Águas Claras. The restaurant’s idea is to make smash burgers with oriental ingredients. Among the options is the Kimchi Burger (photo), one of the most consumed sandwiches in the Japanese subway and which has now become a hit in Águas Claras.

More coffee please

Brasília, every day, is becoming the coffee capital. Statistically, it is one of the places that opens the most cafes in Brazil. With that in mind, until October 1st, our capital will host the Brasília Coffee Week festival, an event that celebrates the biggest, tastiest and hottest coffees in the city. For R$25, you can discover an infinite range of coffees and side dishes. There are countless coffee shops, and among those chosen in this week’s column is the AHA Cafés coffee shop, located at 708/709 Norte.
