Students from the 12 units of the Olympic and Paralympic Centers of the Federal District (COPs) will participate in the Na Praia Social program. In total, 800 children, young people and adults will have access to actions aimed at social inclusion, such as recreational, sporting and cultural activities. The visits will take place on Thursday (21) and Friday (22), at the Na Praia complex, located in the South Sports Clubs Sector.
The event is held by the Executive Head of Social Policies of the Government of the Federal District (GDF), and will be attended by 100 employees from the Urban Cleaning Service (SLU), who will also contribute to the activities carried out during these two days.
Sports workshops, SLU theater, snacks and performances by autistic artists will be offered, in addition to Fazendinha Azul. The activities will take place from 9am to 11:30am and from 2pm to 4:30pm.
The Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Julio Cesar Ribeiro, emphasizes the importance of action as an agent that enhances social inclusion. “The Na Praia project has already benefited more than nine thousand people, including children, the elderly and people with disabilities. This project promotes social inclusion and the promotion of leisure and learning opportunities for children and young people in the Federal District, contributing to a more equal and promising future”, he highlights.
Each group of students will be welcomed, inside the buses, by monitors from Na Praia Social who will distribute bracelets to facilitate the identification of the groups. Afterwards, participants will be directed to the activity areas, where they will stay for 30 minutes, having the option to move to the next attraction after this period. Each group’s day will conclude in the food court.
