The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced that it has lost contact with the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which sent a module, without any astronauts on board, to explore the Moon. This was the first spacecraft to reach the south pole of the natural satellite of Earth, an area that several nations covet because it contains water in the form of ice in permanently shadowed craters.
“Efforts have been made to establish communication with the Vikram lander and the Pragyan rover to check their wake-up condition. So far, no signal has been received from them,” the Indian agency posted on social media on Friday 22nd.
