In-person registrations begin this Monday (18) for this year’s second edition of the free castration campaign promoted by the Secretariat for the Environment and Animal Protection of the Federal District (Sema-DF). In total, 4 thousand exclusive places will be offered for the neutering of canine species.

Passwords will begin to be delivered to the Samambaia Regional Administration, at 8 am this Monday, for owners of male dogs, and on Tuesday (19), at the same time, for owners of female dogs. For in-person registration, the person responsible for the pet must present an official document with a photo.

Tutors also have the option of registering online, using a form to be made available by Sema on Wednesday (20). To neuter males, the form will be available from 10 am; to neuter females, at 2pm.

The list of those selected for the second edition of the campaign will be published on the 22nd, on the Sema website. The surgeries will be carried out between the 25th of this month and the 15th of December in the five affiliated clinics, in Ceilândia, Samambaia, Gama, Paranoá and Vicente Pires.

Continuous program

In parallel with the campaigns launched, Sema offers, on the last Wednesdays and Thursdays of each month, remaining places for free neutering of dogs and cats. Scheduling must be done through the Agenda-DF portal, after which confirmation is sent to the registered email.
