A fight between two neighbors involved arrows and a firearm in the city of Bom Jesus do Galho, in Minas Gerais, on Sunday (17).

A 39-year-old man was left with an arrow stuck in his back. He was repairing a motorcycle in his garage, in the Monte Cristo neighborhood, when he was hit by the arrow, which was reportedly fired by a 43-year-old neighbor, according to Inter TV.

Despite his injury, he picked up a firearm and shot his neighbor, who managed to escape. The two had already fallen out in the past.

The man hit by the arrow was treated by a family member, who took him to a local hospital. However, he had to be transferred to Hospital Márcio Cunha, in Ipatinga, where he is hospitalized with serious injuries and under police escort.

In the report, the MG Civil Police said that they had started investigations, and that they seized arrows and a shotgun. The corporation’s press office did not say who those involved were, their whereabouts or their health status.

The report attempted to contact the Military Police of Minas Gerais to find out more about the incident, but received no response. If so, this text will be updated.
