For the financial market, the quality of the work of the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, worsened in September, according to the Genial/Quaest survey, released this Tuesday (19).
According to the survey, in September, those who evaluated Haddad’s work as positive totaled 46%, compared to 65% in July. Those who see the minister’s actions as negative increased to 2%, compared to 11%. Those who classified it as regular went from 24% to 31%.
Furthermore, the survey also shows that expectations about the economy have also decreased. This month, 36% said they expected the economy to improve in the next 12 months, compared to 53% in the last survey. Those who believe that the economy is likely to worsen were 34%, compared to the previous 21%.
For 72%, economic policy is heading in the wrong direction, compared to 53% in July. In contrast, 28% stated that economic policy is in the right direction, compared to the previous 47%.
