A family of banana farmers, with a century-long legacy of banana cultivation, marked an extraordinary event in their history recently. An impressive bunch of bananas, approximately 1.90 meters long, weighing more than 90 kilos and weighing an impressive 22 bunches of bananas, was harvested in the Sete Barras region, located in Vale do Ribeira, in the interior of São Paulo.

The farmer shared the magnitude of the magnitude of the bunch harvested last Friday (15).

“A common banana bunch generally produces 12 to 15 bunches. The average size is around 1.50 meters and the weight is approximately 50 to 60 kilos”, explained Elton.

Surprisingly, Elton stated that there are no specific techniques for growing giant bunches of bananas. He attributed the success to careful planning involving planting and harvesting after a 12-month growing period.
