On the night of last Monday (18), the Gama Military Police arrested a man who was carrying a firearm inside his vehicle.
At around 8 pm, military police from the Road Operational Tactical (TOR) were carrying out a blockade in Gama, part of their routine security operations. During the action, security agents approached a vehicle driver, as part of standard procedures.
During the approach, the police made a discovery inside the vehicle, finding a 38-caliber revolver, loaded with six rounds of ammunition. The driver of the vehicle was immediately detained by authorities.
The man was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm, a serious infraction before the law.
