Another practicality for citizens of the Federal District. Starting this Monday (18), the Citizen Service Center, 156, will offer, through option 7, assistance from the fines and penalties sector of the Federal District Highway Department (DER-DF). The service will be available from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 9:30 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 8 am to 6 pm.

Through the center, citizens will be able to obtain information on nine issues related to the sector, including how to file a prior defense, appeal fines and even transfer points. According to the road traffic agent, Wagner Brito, head of the Instruction and Process Monitoring Center (NUIAP), attendants will have access to the Radar system, where they can consult traffic violations.

“With free access to the system, our attendants will be able to issue a second copy of the fine and consult infractions on a local and national basis. This facility will speed up service,” he said.

The expectation is that the team of 25 attendants will carry out, on average, 150 services per day. With the launch of the telephone service, physical service in the Department’s fines and penalties sector will not change. This is what the agency’s traffic superintendent, Elcy Ozorio dos Santos, guarantees.

“Citizens will continue to rely on the services provided by the DER-DF Fines Sector in person, which is carried out from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 1 pm and from 1:20 pm to 6:30 pm, by collecting a password in the sector”, he confirmed .

The president of DER-DF, Fauzi Nacfur Junior, is optimistic about the results of the service. “We hope to improve and speed up the provision of services in our fines sector, significantly reducing the overload of telephone calls in this sector and improving citizens’ satisfaction rates with the services offered,” he said.

Check out all the services that citizens will have access to through the center:

– Issuance of a ticket or 2nd copy of a fine ticket;
– Transfer of points (indication of the real driver/offender);
– Prior defense of traffic fine;
– Appeals for fines in the first instance, against Jari;
– Appeals for fines in the second instance, to Contrandife;
– Confirmation of payment of traffic fines;
– Refund requests;
– Conversion of notice of assessment into warning penalty;
– Traffic fines for stolen/stolen vehicles.

The service offered at the Citizen Service Center is carried out by the Administrative Modernization Center (NUMAD), the Traffic Inspection and Penalties Directorate (DIFIT), the Infractions and Penalties Management (GEIPE) and the Instruction and Monitoring Center for Processes (NUIAP), all from DER-DF, through a joint action with the Secretariat of Planning, Budget and Administration of the Federal District (Seplad-DF), and with the support of third parties.
