Beautiful, actor Carmo Dalla Vecchia took advantage of his interview for the Bee40tona podcast to try to explain the motivations that led Rede Globo to censor the kiss between him and fellow actor Amaury Lourenço during the Battle of Lip Sync, part of the program Domingão com Huck last Sunday (10). Carmo regretted the cut made by the program’s production team and revealed that, despite having suggested the kiss, he didn’t know whether the scene would air or not.
Even though he did not come out in defense of the broadcaster he works for, the artist highlighted that the broadcaster has its marketing and business reasons behind all decisions and that, therefore, there was nothing he could do. “We’re talking about a company. The company has several reasons why it exists, everyone knows their story, moral and marketing reasons. I did what I could,” he explained.
“I did my part and it’s not up to me (to decide whether to show it), unfortunately. There are moments in history when we need to position ourselves on the right side, we don’t always take a position”, declared the actor.
