On the afternoon of last Saturday (23), an accident caused a great scare in Epia Sul, close to the Catetinho Museum. A car hit the track’s guardrail and fell down the embankment, until it stopped on the road’s retaining wall.

According to the Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF), the car was driven by a 20-year-old girl and was carrying a 15-year-old teenager as a passenger.

According to firefighters, the 20-year-old driver had a cut on the back of her head, but was oriented, conscious and stable. After containing the wound, it was determined that transport to a hospital unit would not be necessary.

The 15-year-old passenger was also oriented, conscious and stable. The young woman had no apparent injury, but after medical care, she was advised to be transported to the Asa Norte Regional Hospital (Hran).

Two lanes of the road had to be closed to deal with the incident. The causes of the accident are not known.
