The Brasília Volleyball Cup games kicked off with the support of the Secretariat of Sport and Leisure (SEL), an event that reinforces the ministry’s commitment to promoting the strengthening of the sport in the sporting scene in the Federal District. The tournament will be held at the Sesi Taguatinga Gymnasium, located in Setor F Norte, QNF 24, with dates scheduled for September 29th and 30th and October 1st.
The Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Julio Cesar Ribeiro, highlights the importance of the event. “Holding the Brasília Volleyball Cup is a reflection of our commitment to supporting and encouraging the development of the sport in the Federal District, in addition to providing exchanges between athletes from different regions”, he states.
The teams participating in the Brasília Volleyball Cup are divided into female and male categories. In the women’s tournament, Brasília Vôlei, Dentil Praia Clube and Fluminense play. In the men’s category, Brasília Vôlei, Goiás Vôlei and Neurologia Ativa compete.
