Teatro Unip (913 Sul) hosts, on the 7th and 8th of October, the show “Eu te Amo”. The work is an adaptation of the film of the same name by Arnaldo Jabor. Actors Sergio Marone and Juliana Martins star in the play.

The work is adapted by the author himself. It is directed by Rosane Svartman, Lírio Ferreira and Léo Gama, who also work in audiovisual. In this direction, together, elements transform the editing into a large sequence shot, as in a film that is edited each day in time, at the rhythm of the actors and with the presence of the audience.

The show shows the exposure of a couple, their differences and emotional questions. Actress Juliana Martins highlights the importance of approaching relationships, “we are living in an ephemeral time, of liquid love, where people have countless possibilities for meetings via apps and often do not consolidate an emotional relationship. The play talks about momentary desire, lack of love and rejection,” she reports.

The narrative is based on romantic fantasy that involves desire and passion, with the border between truth and lies, fiction and reality, which is, practically, the contemporary spirit. The text addresses feelings such as attraction, enthusiasm, voluptuousness and emotional abandonment, and also has a hint of subtle humor.
