Americanas has a selection process with 1,200 temporary vacancies for Black Friday and Christmas sales.
The process is aimed at the logistics area and the vacancies are for distribution centers in the cities of Uberlândia (MG), Itapevi and Barueri (SP), Seropédica (RJ), Belém (PA), Cabo de Santo Agostinho (PE) , Salvador (BA), Curitiba (PR) and Gravataí (RS).

The company, in judicial recovery since January, with declared debts of R$42.5 billion, laid off 9,175 employees (21% of its workforce) and closed 72 stores (4% of total points of sale) in the last seven months . The records, collected by the report based on information sent by the company to the CVM (Securities Commission), run until August 20th.
Americanas did not disclose the salary value for the vacancies. Benefits such as transportation vouchers, on-site food or meal vouchers will also be offered.
The selection process will be carried out online and in person. There will be technical training for those hired.
The company will also carry out a second phase of hiring for Black Friday and Christmas, scheduled to begin between October and November. The new temporary vacancies will be aimed at physical stores throughout Brazil. There is still no forecast of the number of opportunities available in this second stage.
