The Canto a Canto festival is holding its third edition this Saturday (23). The highlight attraction will be Chico César from Paraíba. The event will be held at Casa do Cantador, in Ceilândia, with free entry.

A national symbol of diverse music, Chico César brings his various influences and different styles to Brasília. Before the singer’s show, the Pedra Fundamental fanfare takes place on the Canto a Canto stage; the forró groups Pé de Cerrado, Moinho D’Água and Caco de Cuia; the pagodeiras of Elas que Toquem; and master Martinha do Coco.

About the festival

In its third edition, the Canto a Canto festival celebrates Brazilian musical diversity and brings to light local and national talents. The party is accessible and free to all audiences.

The creator and producer, Rosângela Dantas, classifies Canto a Canto as “a manifestation of love for Brazilian culture and an invitation for everyone to join in this celebration”. It is carried out by Artecei Produções Artísticas e Culturais, with support from the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the Federal District.
