Agata Muceniece was born and raised in Riga. She moved from Latvia to Moscow in 2008. The future actress entered the acting department of VGIK. In an interview with Svetlana Bondarchuk, Agata admitted that at first the Russian capital seemed terrible to her.

“First of all, there were some advertising flyers and something else hanging everywhere,” Muceniece recalls on the YouTube show “Worlds Around the World.”

She especially did not like the overcrowding of Moscow.

“It seemed like a kind of chaos to me. It seemed to me that this was a city of chaos. People run somewhere, drive, do things, there is no clear schedule. The first year was terribly difficult for me. I thought, “Where have I ended up?” “It’s just terrible,” Agatha said.

In 2010, Muceniece began acting in the series “Closed School.” On set, she fell in love with her series co-star, Pavel Priluchny. In July 2011, the couple secretly signed in one of the capital’s registry offices. The actress officially adopted her husband’s surname and her maiden name, Muceniece, became her creative pseudonym. In 2013, the couple had a son, Timofey, and in 2016, a daughter, Mia. Four years later, the couple decided to divorce.

Although Agata has lived in Moscow for many years, she does not have Russian citizenship. This fact prevented him from acting in the space drama “Challenge.”

“When there was a contest in which Yulia Peresild was finally chosen, they didn’t even take me into account, because of my passport as a European citizen,” Agata said.

Muceniece frequently visits Riga, where his mother Nonna Nikolaevna and sister Santa live. Agatha’s father died when she was still a child.

Recently, the actress has been concerned about the documents of her children, for whom she also wants to obtain European citizenship. Recently, the actress took her heirs to Latvia to get her son Timofey a Latvian passport. However, she did not inform Pavel Priluchny of her plans. She found out from the media that her ex-wife was going to Riga with her children.

Agatha had to get to Latvia by car; The trip to the capital of the neighboring state lasted 10 hours. Later on social media, Muceniece shared a video showing how she and her children returned to Russia. The actress had to cross the border on foot, making her way through large snowdrifts.
