Meta, the parent entity of Facebook and Instagram, has reinstated Donald Trump’s accounts on these platforms. This development was reported on Saturday (July 13) by American media to CBS News.

The ban, which was imposed in January 2021, came after the company accused Trump of inciting vandalism at the Capitol Hill area of the US Parliament building.

Analysts suggest that this reinstatement by Meta will bring significant satisfaction to Trump and his followers. Meta mentioned in a blog post that the former United States President, who is a Republican Party candidate for the upcoming presidential election, will no longer face a higher suspension penalty on Facebook and Instagram.
