The Israeli military forces (IDF) killed five fighters in a raid inside a mosque in Tulkarm, West Bank, Palestine. On Thursday (August 29), the United Kingdom news agency Reuters reported this information.
The IDF claimed to have killed a local commander and four other militants of the Iran-backed Islamic Jihad movement in the West Bank, the report said.
The military also reported that the IDF killed Abu Souza alias Muhammad Jabbar, the head of a network of fighters from the neighboring Nur Shams refugee camp, around a mosque in the town of Tulkarm. His companions were also killed in the attack.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old university student Majd Daud was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces during an operation in Noor Shams camp.
