Israel is once again up in arms over the demand for the release of Israelis held hostage by Hamas. On Saturday (July 28), massive protests took place in the capital Tel Aviv demanding the release of prisoners and the fall of the Netanyahu government. The country’s media reported.

Relatives of Israeli prisoners in Gaza gather on the city’s main streets. Netanyahu loudly protested the failure of the administration. Protesters chanted anti-government slogans. They had pictures of their missing loved ones and various placards in their hands. They demanded a quick ceasefire in Gaza.

A third of the Israeli hostages have already died due to the delay in the ceasefire, protesters fear. 120 Israelis are still held captive by Hamas in Gaza.
