The presidential election will be held in the United States in November this year. There was some pressure on incumbent President Joe Biden to withdraw from the race.

However, pushing that pressure aside, Biden has unequivocally announced that he is staying in the election.

Former US President Donald Trump is his main rival in this election. Biden tried to attack Trump in various ways during his speech in Detroit on Friday. He also alleged that Trump had raped a woman.

“Fourteen million Democrats, like you, voted for me in the primary. You nominated me, no one else. Not the press, not the pundits, not any internal forces, not the donors… You, the voters, decided,” Biden told the crowd. “No one else, and I am not withdrawing from the election.”

Biden said these things in a speech given at Detroit High School. Pressure was mounting from Democratic lawmakers and donors to drop Biden from the race. However, in this public meeting, Biden was seen encouraging people who want to run for election.

Biden said several things attacking rival Donald Trump. He talked about Trump in various contexts and called Trump a convicted felon. He also mentioned that Donald Trump had filed for bankruptcy six times.
