Last Saturday night (23), the Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF) was called to an emergency fire in an apartment at SQS 213, Block G.

Arriving at the scene, CBMDF teams were faced with a large volume of smoke and flames coming from the window of an apartment on the fourth floor. For safety reasons, the entire floor where the apartment was located was evacuated and firefighters immediately entered the building with a search and rescue team.

The flames were concentrated in one room and were restricted and confined to this room and did not spread to any other room. However, due to the large production of smoke, there was a lot of soot, reaching almost the entire house.

After the flames were extinguished, the aftermath phase began and tactical ventilation began to expel smoke from inside the apartment.

To extinguish the flames, it was necessary to use water from the Fire Department vehicles.

There were no people or animals inside the apartment at the time of the accident, and no resident of the building needed transport to a hospital.

CBMDF Expertise was called.
