The Civil Police of the Federal District confirmed that the DNA found on the body of the woman who accuses dentist Gustavo Najjar of rape is that of the person being investigated.
The dentist, a specialist in facial harmonization, was arrested on September 12 and is also suspected of sexually harassing seven other women.
On Thursday (21/9), a report carried out by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML), of the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF), had already confirmed that the dentist’s victim had blunt bodily injury compatible with the sexual crime.
The dentist remains in temporary detention in the Civil Police Prisoner Control and Custody Division. He was formally indicted for the crime of rape and, if convicted, will be subject to a sentence of 6 to 10 years in prison, according to the police.
