In another week full of national shows and free festivals, Brazilian Popular Music is highlighted on today’s Brasília Agenda. Ney Matogrosso and Paula Toller, with their respective tours “Bloco na Rua and “Amorosa”, are just two of the artists passing through the federal capital this weekend. The Palco Brasil festival also features three shows by Arnaldo Antunes, today (22 ) on Sunday (24).

Agenda Brasília also features the first edition of BALBVRDIA in the capital; Àttooxxá, and Tássia Reis at the VOA Festival; Chico César in Canto a Canto; o Made in Japan; shows by Diogo Defante, Esse Menino, Mestrinho, Gustavo Bertoni and much more. Check out:

Paula Toller and the “Amorosa” tour

Finally, the day has come! Announced since March, the “Amorosa” tour, by singer Paula Toller, comes to Brasília this Saturday (23), at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center. In her repertoire, Paula brings together great hits and the single “Perguntas”, released last November. Tickets are on sale on the Alpha Tickets website from R$90.

Àttooxxá, Tássia Reis and more at VOA Festival

This Saturday (23) and Sunday (24), parking lot 10 at Parque da Cidade hosts the VOA Festival. The band Àttooxxá, the singers Luiza Lian and Tássia Reis, the band Mestre Ambrósio, the duo from Brasilia Margaridas (DF) are among the many confirmed attractions. Tickets from R$20 at Furando a Fila.

“Bloco na Rua”, with Ney Matogrosso

Singer Ney Matogrosso returns to Brasília today (22) with the “Bloco na Rua” tour. The show will be held at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center, starting at 9pm. The repertoire reveals the musical diversity that the artist brings with him throughout his career: “I want to put my block on the street” (Sergio Sampaio), which is where the title of the tour comes from; “The Apple” (Raul Seixas); “Álcool (Bolero Filosófico)”, from the original soundtrack of the film “Tatuagem”; and “O Beco”, recorded by Ney in the late 1980s, are some of the hits that the public will be able to hear up close. Tickets are still on sale at the Digital Ticket Office starting at R$105.

Arnaldo Antunes on Palco Brasil

The Palco Brasil festival takes place at CCBB and promises special meetings with MPB artists. The big star of the weekend is Arnaldo Antunes, who will perform today (22), tomorrow (23) and Sunday (24). Get ready to feel the energy of classics like “A Casa É Sua”, “Alegria”, and many others, all in arrangements that will take you on a unique journey through the musical universe of this icon of our music.

Esse Menino live at Teatro Caesb

The comedian and screenwriter from Minas Gerais Esse Menino returns to Brasília this Friday (22) with the show “Esse Menino Ao Vivo”. The 26-year-old who stood out during the pandemic makes two presentations, at 8pm and 9:30pm, at Espaço Cultural Caesb, in Águas Claras. Tickets for the 8pm session are still on sale, starting at R$45, at the Digital Ticket Office.

Chico César at the Canto a Canto festival

Tomorrow (23), Casa do Cantador, in Ceilândia, will be the stage for an incredible musical spectacle, highlighted by the presence of Chico César, icon of Paraíba music. Before the main show, an eclectic musical marathon will take over the stage, with the lively fanfare Pedra Fundamental, the infectious forró groups Pé de Cerrado, Moinho D’Água and Caco de Cuia, the engaging pagodeiras of Elas que Toquem and the master Martinha from Coco, promising to shake the public with different rhythms.

Diogo Defante at Toinha Brasil Show

Anyone who met Diogo Defante recently may not know that the comedian, before making a name for himself with his nonsense content, was the drummer for the band Let’s Go! Recently, Defante decided to reactivate the rocker skin and released the album ‘Robson’. This Saturday (23), the carioca brings the album tour to Brasília! The show will take place at Toinha Brasil, at SOF Sul, from midnight (the house opens at 10pm). Tickets start at R$70 at Clube do Ingresso.

Tribute to Luiz Gonzaga, with Mestrinho

Accordion player Mestrinho is the main attraction of Clube do Choro’s weekly program. Today (22) and tomorrow (23), starting at 8:30 pm, the artist pays tribute to master Luiz Gonzaga. Tickets start at R$50.

Festival Made in Japan

Conductor Rogério Martins, recognized worldwide for his incredible performance as Elton John, arrives in Brasília along with the Made in Japan festival. He will shine alongside the renowned Brasília Philharmonic Orchestra, celebrating the legendary British musician. On other days, artists Matsuri Dance will take the stage with Harumi, Pamela Yuri, Fábio Yoshihara and Edson Saito.

Made in Japan, now in its 5th edition, is a true dive into Japanese culture and gastronomy. Art, fashion, crafts and music promise to transform the City Park Pavilion into a true journey to the land of the rising sun.

It’s time for Brasília to discover Balbúrdia!

BALBVRDIA, a party that was born in Rio de Janeiro and has already passed through states in the South and Southeast of the country, arrives in Brasília this Saturday (23). In addition to the various DJs, Balbúrdia offers special scenography, a casino and a tattoo studio. The shot bar and food court are also worth mentioning. The event will take place at Mané Garrincha, starting at 10pm, with tickets starting at R$90 (third batch).
