In a military school located in Aparecida de Goiânia, in the metropolitan region of the capital, last Tuesday (19), a military police officer was filmed pushing a student and holding him by the neck inside the State College of the Military Police of Goiás, in Mansões Paraíso unit.
The Military Police of the state of Goiás acted promptly in the face of the situation. The PM’s Internal Affairs Department began an investigation to investigate the incident, demonstrating its commitment to transparency and responsibility.
Furthermore, the Corporation’s Education Command took immediate action to deal with the case. The military police officer involved was temporarily removed from his duties, ensuring that he will not remain active while the investigation is ongoing. This measure was adopted to ensure the integrity and safety of the school community.
The Education Command also announced that it will conduct a detailed investigation of the incident and requested the Institution’s Corrections and Discipline Command to initiate an Administrative Disciplinary Procedure (PAD) related to the case. This action emphasizes the determination of the Goiás Military Police to guarantee the accountability of those involved, in the event of proven misconduct.
