Missionary is arrested on suspicion of being an accomplice of pastor Osório José Lopes Júnior, the man was arrested this Wednesday morning (20) in an operation carried out by the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF).
The pastor was apprehended in Jaraquá do Sul (SC), the name of the suspect was not disclosed. The operation was a joint effort by investigators from five other states.
Based on more than a year of investigations, it was discovered that the criminal organization was led by Pastor Osório. Through social media platforms such as YouTube, Telegram, Instagram and Whatsapp, this group made up of around 200 religious individuals attracted their victims, mainly devout members of evangelical churches.
