As a form of protest, tax auditors from the Federal District Revenue Service launched, this Tuesday (19), the standard operation, in addition to handing over 130 commissioned positions to the Sub-Secretariat of Revenue, of the Finance Secretariat (Sefaz-DF).
According to the president of the Union of Treasury Tax Audit Career Employees (Sinafite-DF), Toni Pinto, the category is dissatisfied with the secretariat structure, which includes the deficit of employees, current working conditions and class remuneration. .
“Two years ago, we had a competition, where 175 auditors were appointed. However, of these 175, in one year, 40 asked to be transferred to other states, which have better remunerations than us. Today, our remuneration is the 26th, compared to other states”, explained Toni.
The decision to collectively hand over the positions and launch the standard operation were taken at a union meeting held on the 5th.

The standard operation aims to inspect all goods arriving in the DF according to what appears on the invoices, which leads to long queues of trucks.
Due to the shortage of servers, professionals generally inspect the goods by sampling. “The DF has approximately 400 IRS tax auditors. But the ideal number to take care of the work relating to 450 thousand taxpayers would be at least 600 professionals”, explains a note from Sinafite.
