Late last Monday night (18), an operation by the Road Operational Tactical (TOR) resulted in the arrest of a man who was transporting cell phones of suspicious origin in a vehicle in Gama, in a case of possible embezzlement of goods.

At around 11 pm, TOR police officers were patrolling when they decided to approach a suspicious vehicle. Inside the car, security officers found a total of 22 new cell phones. However, the driver of the vehicle was unable to provide documentation proving the legal origin of the devices.

Given the lack of proof of the legal origin of the cell phones, the merchandise, as well as the vehicle, were seized by the authorities.
