Federal deputy Guilherme Boulos, from PSOL, meets this Wednesday (20) with former mayor of New York (USA) Bill de Blasio. The Brazilian has agendas in the American city on the margins of the UN General Assembly, which begins this Tuesday (19).

The two must exchange management experiences on topics such as urbanism, sustainability, inclusion and combating racism. From the Democratic Party, de Blasio commanded New York between 2014 and 2021.

Boulos’ agenda is part of a series of meetings that the deputy, one of the pre-candidates for Mayor of São Paulo next year, has been promoting with foreign leaders.

In April, for example, he met with the mayor of Santiago, Iraci Hassler, in Chile. In the coming months, trips to Bogotá, Colombia, and Paris, France are planned.

With this, Boulos intends to gather international experiences for his government program and show a more moderate facet as a politician, far from the radical image that opponents try to associate with him.
