The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, stated this Monday, 18th, that the most skeptical economists and who predicted Brazil’s growth of less than 1% this year are reviewing their numbers, since growth will be more than 3% . This Monday, the Secretariat of Economic Policies (SPE) of the Ministry of Finance raised the projection for the expansion of the Brazilian economy, from 2.5% to 3.2% in 2023.

“The growth will be four times more than what was predicted at the beginning of the year. The dollar was expected to be R$6.00, it is below R$5.00”, said Haddad. “We have to understand that the Brazilian economy has potential. Only we can be enemies of ourselves at a time like this”, he added.
