There was no point in the public shouting about Cabelinho’s presence in Petrolina, Pernambuco. The artist did not take the stage and the event organizers highlighted the singer’s lack of professionalism. Osvaldo Marley, Osvaldinho from Sucesso Promotions, who organized the entire event said that he gave up performing due to a lack of special effects.
“We fought with Cabelinho’s production team to make him do the show without effect, because I think everyone is here to see Cabelinho sing. He didn’t want to do the show without the effects”, began Osvaldinho.
After asking the public to calm down, he stated: “We are going to reschedule the show. He didn’t want to do it. I think the artist lacks respect for his fans. Fee paid, 150 pfrom (R$ 150 mil); 40 pu (R$ 40 thousand) for air tickets, all this structure, paid hotel, paid dressing room, paid van and the guy refuses to sing because it has no effect? That does not exist. It’s a lack of consideration”, he said.
“People will pick up their tickets at the exit. I will ask event security to provide support so there is no confusion. We’re going to do it again (the event), but here’s the repudiation of MC Cabelinho’s lack of consideration for the fans. It is unacceptable to stop doing a show when everything is paid for in the city due to lack of effect”, he criticized.
The singer’s team reported that the show was canceled due to the contractor’s fault. “MC Cabelinho and his team hereby announce that, due to breach of contract by the contractor, the show that would have been held on September 17th, at I Love Trap, in Petrolina-PE, has been cancelled”, he began.
