This Sunday (17), an action by military police officers from the 14th Battalion’s Operational Tactical Group (GTOp 34) resulted in the arrest of a man with an open arrest warrant, after crucial information provided by agents from the 31st Police Station.
The authorities were alerted to the presence of the fugitive in the region and promptly began the search. During the police action, the man was located and detained.
In addition to the arrest for the outstanding warrant, the suspect was in possession of illicit substances, including marijuana, crack and cocaine, along with equipment related to drug trafficking and a cell phone.
Portions of the seized greenish substances were packaged, indicating that they were marijuana, crack and cocaine, and a precision scale was found at the scene.
The detained man, along with the seized material, was sent to the 31st Police Station for registration and to continue investigations into drug trafficking in the area.
