Netflix’s One Piece brought quite a few talented actors forward, including Emily Rudd. But is she related to the lovable Ant-Man star Paul Rudd in any way? Could she be his niece or perhaps a distant cousin? Or do these two simply share the same last names co-incidentally? Here’s everything you need to know.

No, Emily Rudd is not related to Paul Rudd in any way!

Hollywood is shared by multiple actors, directors, and other creative people who are related to each other. Unfortunately, Paul Rudd and Emily Rudd don’t fall into that category which popularly includes the Hemsworth brothers, the Affleck brothers, the Kardashians, and many others. The two actors just share the same last name and have no familial connections besides that.

As per multiple news outlets, Emily Rudd is the daughter of Jeffrey Rudd and Michelle Rudd and has an older brother named Dan. However, none of them are related to Paul Rudd, who is married to Julie Yaeger and has two children, Jack and Darby.

With all of that said, Paul and Emily do have one thing in common. The former is among the beloved actors who might not have any haters at all. The latter, on the other hand, is an up-and-coming actor who has been loved in Prime Video’s Hunters. But she gained a major chunk of her popularity by playing Nami on Netflix’s One Piece recently.

So, even though Paul Rudd’s fanbase is likely bigger than Emily’s, the list of their haters might only include a handful of people. Hence, it would have been nice if the two were related. Perhaps Emily Rudd could have been a good fit to play Cassie Lang in Quantumania, instead of Kathryn Newton. Or, maybe, the 30-year-old actress could team up with the 54-year-old de-aging celebrity in a different future project. Here’s hoping!
