Nobel laureate economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He urged the countrymen to remain calm before returning home.
He said on social media on Wednesday (August 7) that this victory should not be lost due to any kind of mistake. In the interest of all, he said, in the current situation, everyone should remain calm and refrain from all forms of violence and destruction of property. He also requested everyone to remain calm regardless of party affiliation.
Dr. Yunus said, I congratulate the brave students who led us to make our second Victory Day a reality. Congratulating the people of the country, he said, we need to protect this beautiful country with huge potential for our own and future generations. Our main task now is to take the country forward.
He said, our youth are ready to build a new world. We cannot lose this opportunity by resorting to unnecessary violence. Violence is the enemy of us all. Please don’t make enemies. Everyone keep calm and come forward to rebuild the country.
