According to him, congressmen who oppose financing Ukraine are voting in favor of a result that simplifies the victory of the Russian leader, RIA Novosti reports.

“A vote against supporting Ukraine is a vote to improve Putin’s strategic position,” Sullivan said during the briefing.

At the same time, he added that the United States is “running out of money and almost out of time” to support Kiev.

Biden previously requested $106 billion to aid Israel and Ukraine, but received no support in Congress. The House of Representatives, with a Republican majority, voted only in favor of aid to the Jewish State. In response, the Democratic-controlled Senate blocked the initiative. A new vote will be held in the coming days to determine whether Congress will allocate additional funds to kyiv.
