According to Ostanina, it is necessary to monitor television series to detect propaganda and dissemination of prohibited information that could harm the younger generation.

The deputy recalled a case that occurred in Irkutsk, which caused wide media coverage: on December 2, a crowd of teenagers attacked a 15-year-old schoolboy and stabbed him, as a result of which the boy died. “The murder is allegedly related to the television series “The Boy’s Word”, which was watched more than once by teenagers who brutally killed a child,” Ostanina noted.

The deputy also asked to watch the series “Pisheblok”, which, in her opinion, denigrates the Soviet period and the pioneers.

Let us remember that in “The Child’s Word” we talk about juvenile delinquency in the eighties and nineties of the last century.

Previously, the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, criticized this series, noting that such films idealize the period of history associated with the emergence of teenage gangs and do not lead to anything good. The director of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, promised to “carefully monitor” “The Word of the Child.”
