– The sun in St. Petersburg is only the fifteenth in a series of years. But here it should be noted that the sun shone quite a bit in September and very little in November, so the general result is what it turned out: 241 hours of sunshine and 54 days of sunshine, Kolesov also calculated.

Additionally, the most precipitation this fall was recorded in October: 203 percent of normal and in November, 155 percent of normal.

“Overall, it turns out that the fall of 2023 became one of the wettest in the entire series of instrumental observations, taking fourth place in the overall series,” the forecaster notes. – But here it must also be taken into account that, due to the colder weather, from mid-November 2023 all precipitation fell in the form of snow. And in 1984 and 2012, at the end of November there was very little snow and all precipitation came as rain.

Please note that the cyclone currently remains active over St. Petersburg, so it will snow. In addition, the air temperature will drop between 5 and 8 degrees below zero.
