Actor Alexander Levin (TV series “Trigger”, “Bodyguards” and “Mosgaz”) said that his ex-wife kidnapped their common 4-year-old son. As KP.RU learned, on November 30 a man came to one of the police departments and wrote a statement. According to him, he was supposed to pick up the child at daycare on Thursday, but when he arrived to pick him up he was informed that Matvey (name changed) had been taken by his mother. Levin told police that his wife refused to allow him to meet with her son.
At the moment, it is known that the woman previously told the actor that she did not want to live with him and was filing for divorce. In the summer of this year, the court dissolved their marriage, but Alexander Levin filed an appeal. A decision on this has not yet been made: according to our information, the meeting is scheduled for December 26. It turns out there hasn’t been a formal divorce yet.
The situation was commented on by the Children’s Ombudsman of the Moscow region, Ksenia Mishonova.
“Unfortunately I want to bother my dad,” he wrote on social media. – Mom is the legal representative. According to our laws, she can take the child and hide him from her father and other relatives. And nothing can be done about it.”
At the same time, as Mishonova notes, such actions of some parents have long become a problem in cases of family discord.
“This is not the first year we have urged people to make it mandatory to draw up an agreement on the place of living and the procedure for communicating with parents before receiving the divorce certificate. “This is not the first year that we have been insisting that they increase responsibility for non-compliance with a court decision on the communication order.”
According to the Moscow region’s children’s ombudsman, she believes that the law should equate the retention of a child by one of the parents with abduction.
A police source told KP.RU that an investigation is underway based on actor Levin’s statement.
