Tesla has already put a price on its long-awaited Cybertruck. It was presented in 2019 and is one of the most anticipated electric models on the market. Now, at a recent event at the Tesla plant in Austin, United States, Elon Musk has made this information public: the starting price of the basic version of the revolutionary Cybertruck is $60,900, approximately 55,600 euros. This announcement marks a new chapter in the history of electric vehicles.

The launch of Tesla’s Cybertruck represents not only a breakthrough in electric vehicle technology but also a new era in automotive design and capabilities. With multiple options and a mix of power, efficiency and style, the Cybertruck is ready to leave an indelible mark on the global market.

The Cybertruck, known for its futuristic design and innovative features, has generated great excitement since its first presentation in 2019. Back then, Musk promised a vehicle with bulletproof glass and a stainless steel body capable of withstanding a rock impact. Despite an incident during the demo in which a glass broke, the Cybertruck’s promises of durability and strength remain a key selling point.

How much does the Cybertruck cost?

Tesla has planned several versions of the Cybertruck to meet different needs and budgets. In addition to the basic rear-wheel drive version, a four-wheel drive model will be available for $79,900 and a higher-powered model, dubbed ‘Cyberbeast’, for $99,900.

The announced prices represent a significant increase compared to the initial figures that Musk had mentioned in 2019. At that time, the basic version of the Cybertruck was estimated at around $39,900, with a delivery date expected in 2021. However, production began to take shape starting in July of this year.

Cybertruck features and autonomy

The Cybertruck promises not only cutting-edge design but also impressive technical specifications. The rear-wheel drive version, available in 2025, will have an estimated range of 400 kilometers, while the four-wheel version, to be delivered next year, will have a range of 550 kilometers and the ability to tow loads of up to five tons. For its part, the ‘Cyberbeast’ will offer 845 horsepower and will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.6 seconds.

How much does it cost to reserve one?

Since 2019, Tesla has been accepting reservations for the Cybertruck, initially charging $100 for each one. With the recent announcement, the reserve price has increased to $250, a preliminary step to purchasing one of these innovative vehicles.

What about the Tesla Cybertruck?

The Tesla Cybertruck is a pickup-type electric vehicle designed and manufactured by Tesla, Inc. Known for its angular and futuristic design, the Cybertruck stands out for its robust structure and its ability to perform heavy tasks, typical of a pickup truck, combined with the advantages of an electric vehicle. With multiple versions offering different ranges of autonomy and load capacities, the Cybertruck is positioned as an innovative option for both work and leisure.
