Let me remind you that more than 1 million cars travel on the Moscow Ring Road. As the head of the city notes, this is the most popular route in Moscow. To optimize traffic and improve safety, the data center added an additional lane in eight sections and on two highway exits, narrowing the lanes. There are also 19 acceleration and deceleration lanes for entering the Moscow Ring Road.

An additional lane appeared at the exit of the Varshavskoe highway from the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road towards the M-2 “Crimea” and on Myakininsky Proezd opposite Nemansky. There are 770 video analysis cameras in operation. Information about a dangerous situation is instantly transmitted to the Data Center Situation Center.

An audible warning has been installed at kilometer 70 of the Moscow Ring Road that is activated as soon as the cameras “see” an accident without injuries. Eight emergency information screens about accidents or road works are operational.

The traffic police department helps drivers when cars break down or are towed after an accident. This is especially useful during snowfall, as proven once again by the bad weather that has prevailed in the capital since the last days of November.
