A 69-year-old man experienced a terrible incident while hiking in the Águas Claras Ecological Park, in the Federal District, on the night of Monday, the 25th. The case is under investigation by the 21st Police Station.
The victim, identified as João de Sales Andrade, was rescued by the Fire Department after being found with injuries to his back. He was later taken to the Taguatinga Regional Hospital (HRT).
The police report was registered at the police station by the victim’s son, who reported that his father was approached by a group of four individuals. According to his son, the elderly man was stabbed twice in the back, one of which punctured his right lung.
The victim underwent surgery and, according to information from his son, is recovering well. The following day, Tuesday, the 26th, the elderly man was transferred to a private hospital.
