Pagode singer Bressan and pop reggae artist Julies come together to release the single “Eu te Namorei”. Inspired by pagodas from the 1990s, the song hits all music apps on Friday (29), combining references from names like Salgadinho, Soweto and Exaltasamba with reggae pop.

Produced by one of the biggest names today, Zain, who also wrote the composition with the two singers, the song talks about a love that arrived in an unpretentious way. “I’m a big fan of the 90s pagode, as are my writing partners, so the song has a romantic vibe characteristic of artists who were successful in the decade. My projects are all like this, they bring the mix of Brazilianities that give life to my reggae”, says Julies.

“The choice of a partnership for Eu te Namorei was natural, Julies has been my friend for a long time and as good friends we always talked about one day, making our sound. The ideal moment came in a meeting we had in my studio, it was the first time composing together and it worked. The language and direction was the same as the three of them at that time (me, Julies and Zain)”, explains Bressan.

“With the track ready, we knew it was time to put our music out into the world, from that moment on we chose to join forces and grew together until then, seeking to bring the best to Eu te Namorei, which is a divider in both careers and has everything for dating Brazil too”, completes the pagode’s voice

For the reggae singer, life presented him with Bressan. “I’m sure he will be one of the biggest names in the country and I was impressed with his ability to sing and compose. The first time we sat down to do anything together, this great song came out. Personally, I’m a big fan of his and I’m very happy with the result”, he concludes.
