After having habeas corpus denied by Minister Cristiano Zanin, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), General Heleno was forced to attend the session of the Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) this Tuesday (26), which investigates those involved in the coup acts on January 8, 2023, when vandals invaded the National Congress, the Palácio do Planalto and the STF.
At the time, General Augusto Heleno was the minister of the Institutional Security Cabinet (GSI) in the Bolsonaro government.
