The Federal District hosts another edition of Sebrae Inova, between the 5th and 7th of October, at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center. The event, created in 2019, is based on three pillars: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Digital Marketing. With a focus on generating knowledge for entrepreneurs about the digital world and debating current topics each year, Sebrae Inova 2023 will discuss the theme: Smart Cities.

Sebrae Inova 2023 already has more than 17 thousand registered, and an estimated 35 thousand participants. To the Brasilia newspaperRicardo Robson, manager of the personalized service unit at Sebrae DF, commented on the importance of the event and the theme for the population: “Sebrae Inova largely aims to show the population that wants to undertake business now or in the future that there is opportunity of business in various segments”.

“As a result, this year the agenda is once again different. With the theme ‘Smart Cities’ we want to rethink cities for people, environments and businesses. Every year there is an agenda within Sebrae Inova that we work on in a very transversal way. From the assembly, to the content that will be available on stages”, adds Ricardo.

The event has a very complete program for the three days, with reference speakers on the topics of inclusion, smart cities, happiness and influence, such as: Leandro Karnal, Luiz Felipe Pondé, Samer Agi, Hungary, Cecília Tham, Thaynara OG and Celso Athayde . In addition to these, the following are confirmed presences: Juliana Wallauer (presenter), Nobru, Andreza Delgado and more than 80 experts who will participate in lectures, debates and conversation circles.

The main stage, ‘Inova’, will have themes such as: “Talking About Innovation and Smart Cities: Perspectives and Challenges”, “Inspiring Connections: Culture, Entrepreneurship and Social Transformation in the Connected Era” and “Happiness: A Right, Duty or Choice ?”.

Those interested in participating in the free event can register via the website: www.sebraeinova.com.br. By registering, you can access the content that is already available on ‘Inova Play’. The content presented during the three days of Sebrae Inova 2023 was available on the online platform until the end of the year.

“On our online platform, people can access lectures that have already been given, e-books, podcasts and blogs. In other words, there is a series of information that people can consume even before the event takes place, and people are automatically registered for the in-person event”, explains the manager of the personalized service unit at Sebrae DF, Ricardo Robson.

Those who are unable to register in advance can do so in person on the day of the event. According to information from Sebrae DF, the event grows by around 20% in the number of participants in each new edition. In 2019, the first year of Sebrae Inova, the event had a thousand participants, and the theme followed the central idea of the event: “Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, with a focus on the social media market.

In 2020, Sebrae Inova Online, due to the pandemic, jumped to 17 thousand participants, with a focus on data protection. In 2021, around 22 thousand registrants debated about artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, 2022 debated the Era of Hyperconnectivity and 5G, and had 25 thousand members.

In attention to the growth and adherence of Brazilians to Sebrae Inova, Ricardo highlights the power of DF’s entrepreneurship: “This action is a great delivery from Sebrae. It is an event that is being 100% subsidized by Sebrae. So it is a great delivery for DF society, with a focus on entrepreneurship as a mechanism for social transformation. Through the generation of employment and income. The more people who are interested in entrepreneurship in our city, the better it will be for society as a whole, thus making us less dependent on public services.”
